Siren was featured in February 2003 Issue of Dolls Magazine Siren is 5.5" tall (seated). Her body, scales, fins and accessories are made from polymer clay. Siren has glass eyes. Her hairs are viscose. All the beautiful colors are the natural polymer clay colors, there are no paints used except for the eyebrows and the lips. The little seashell is actually a real one. Siren is meticulously sculpted down to her fingers and fins with great deal of details on her face, body and accessories. Every individual scale is formed separately, then mounted on the tail one-by-one and glazed. This is why the scales look so much similar to real wet fish scales. Siren's fins are made of translucent polymer clay. They pass some light, and they look especially great when backlit. Siren seats on a coral throne. The throne is detachable, if you wish to re-arrange the setting.
