Her costume was inspired by traditional ceremonial costume of Russian noble women from the time before Peter the Great (17th century).
Lubava is 12.5" tall, 14" with the kokoshnik (traditional Russian head-dress).
She has fully poseable, ball-jointed body sculpted from ProSculpt polymer clay with hand-painted blushes and skin features. The doll has been jointed with metal springs and will never require re-stringing.
Lubava has brown hand-painted glass eyes. The wig is black English mohair.
The costume is crafted from cotton and chiffon fabrics, lavishly embellished with seed beads, pearls, turquoise beads and Swarovski rhinestones. The costume is embellished with about 12,000 of 15/0 size seed beads and took about 3 months of full time work to complete. The costume is removable.
Lubava wears boots made from red fabric.
The transparent acryllic stand is included with the doll.
